Celebrate Juneteenth and enjoy an evening of live theater at ASU Kerr, featuring "Lost Boys Found" by Julie Amparano Garcia and directed by Anastasia Levkun, and "The Moment" by James E. Garcia and directed by Rod Ambrose. This show is presented by New Carpa Theater Co. Lost Boys Found by Julie Amparano Garcia Based on oral histories, this powerful play follows Sudanese refugees as they adjust to life in the U.S., discovering everyday "miracles" in a world far from war-torn Africa. The Moment by James E. Garcia Set in 2007, this story follows a suburban Black family whose lives change when a historic presidential campaign sparks a political and personal awakening.
