A lively, monthly class for teens ages 13–18

EVERY LAST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH
(Starting January 25)

Feel the groove, turn up the rhythm, and create something awesome — together! This upbeat, once-a-month class is designed for teens with intellectual and developmental disabilities to explore music through rhythm, teamwork, and creativity in a fun, supportive space.

Each session features a cool new theme and hands-on time with boomwhackers, percussion, and Orff instruments, so everyone gets to play — no experience needed!

What to expect:
· Learn to keep the beat and jam as a team.
· Build confidence through sound and self-expression.
· Connect with friends in a welcoming, inclusive space.
· Team up with your parent or your support staff for shared music-making moments.
· Enjoy a welcoming and inclusive community accessible to families who may otherwise lack music opportunities.

Class size is limited to 10 participants, each with a required parent or support staff. Please share any accommodation needs during registration — Sweetwater and the instructor will provide all reasonable accommodations (one-on-one support must be supplied by the participant’s own support person).

Registration closes 48 hours before class begins.
