BEHERIT:Wyrd War in conspiracy with NWN! proudly deliver legendary Finnish black metal progenitors BEHERIT to the Pacific Northwest for the first time ever! Formed in 1989 in the northernmost region of Lapland, at the icy fringes of the Arctic Circle, by Nuclear Holocausto Vengeance, Sodomatic Slaughter and Demonic Fornication, the band recorded several chaotic demos that were released in 1991 as the unofficial but hugely influential masterpiece The Oath of Black Blood before releasing their comparatively experimental debut full length Drawing Down the Moon in 1993. The band has continued to evolve over several decades and creative eras to produce an avant-garde body of work that has never strayed thematically from its occult Satanic origins. BEHERIT returns to unholy form in 2025 to desecrate American soil for the first time in the bands nearly 40 year legacy. OPEN THE GATES OF NANNA! This exclusive live ritual marks their triumphant return to the Pacific Northwest for the first time since 2019. SPIRIT POSSESSION:Portland, Oregons double-headed SPIRIT POSSESSION, comprised of S. Peacock on vocals and guitar and A. Spungin on drums and handmade synthesizers, carries the primordial flame of heavy metal into a new dark age. Since 2019, the duos jagged uncompromising approach to outsider black metal orthodoxy has taken the international underground by storm with alchemical innovation and blistering visceral force. DEATHCHARGE:Established in 1997 as a Discharge-inspired punk band, Portland Citys very own DEATHCHARGE has emerged as one of the nations most respected purveyors of macabre nihilistic death rock. The bands acclaimed 2024 album Midnight Road, their first recording in more than a decade, sees them refining their craft and clawing ever further toward the darkest outposts of sonic decay.
