BOOK SEWING WORKSHOP
This class is an introduction to several book crafts not taught in the book binding workshops, including leather and paper decoration, and advanced sewing techniques. Participants will hand-sew book sections together with specialized techniques. In the bookbinding trade, these sections of pages are referred to as signatures. Students will learn sewing techniques not taught in the Bookbinding I class: the French Link Stitch and the Herringbone Stitch.
Workshop Admission: $95/Person, all supplies included. Ages 8 & Up. (Ages 8 – 17 must be accompanied by an adult). Pre-registration is required. Space is limited to 6 participants.
Workshops Health Safety Precautions
Effective 3/3/2022, face masks are optional, not required.
Workshops are limited to 6 persons maximum to allow for social distancing.
All participants must abide by social distancing procedures.
For the safety of our visitors and staff, any participant with visible signs of sickness (cough, etc.) will not be allowed to join the tour and will be given a refund. Please stay home if you are sick.
