Melt your brain at Belltown Film Societys presentation of the profoundly psychedelic Bruce Bickford short films Prometheus Garden l, remastered in glorious HD on the Here-Afters spectacular screen. Seattles own Bruce Bickford was a visionary animator who found fame crafting claymation short films in collaboration with Frank Zappa. This special night is co-presented by Nicky Garaas, Bruce Bickfords archivist and former assistant, along with Baby Claypool who photographed much of Bruce Bickfords estate, to provide insight into Bruces work. Most excellently, this is also the Seattle premiere of the 2025 edition of Prometheus Garden, featuring music by members of Osees, Sonic Youth, Bauhaus, The Residents, Foetus, TV on the Radio, Psychic TV, Lightning Bolt, Voivod, Cumgirl8, While Hills, Battles and more.
