Advanced Stand Up Comedy Course Congratulations, youve done it! You found your Inner Comedian. Now, its time to carry your passion to the next level. This course is perfect for anyone whos already started their stand-up comedy journey, including graduates of the Beginners Intro to Comedy classes. This Advanced class will focus on: Sharpening Your Material: Dive deep into editing and enhancing your existing jokes to boost both laugh count and impact.Finding Your Comedic Voice: Discover and consistently bring to life a strong, authentic stage persona.Mastering Performance Skills: Fine-tune your timing, delivery, body language, and vocal expression for maximum effect.Writing Through Performance: Learn to think on your feetimprovising, handling hecklers, and working the crowd with confidence.Crafting a Pro-Level Set: Build a polished, longer set (1530 minutes) that flows naturally and lands with club-ready strength.Navigating the Comedy Industry: Get insider tips on booking gigs, connecting with bookers, and promoting yourself as a professional comic.Each session will be for three (3) hours: from 11am 2pm with the first class starting on Saturday, October 25th, the second on Saturday, November 1st, the third class on Saturday, November 8th, and the final class on Saturday, November 15th. The following day, Sunday, November 16th, will be your Graduation Show (here at The Stand Up Comedy Club.) A highly personalized class experience with a cap of just 10 students. This event is 21 and over. Any ticket holder unable to present valid identification indicating that they are at least 21 years of age will not be admitted to this event, and will not be eligible for a refund. Ages 21+ and Older. All sales are final. No refunds. 2-item minimum purchase required The lineup is subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse entry to any person who is either under the influence of ANY substance or causes a disturbance of any kind. Late arrivals for groups of 4 or more are not guaranteed seating together unless half the party is already seated or VIP booth/stage seating has been reserved. Because our shows are in such high demand, we are not able to hold seats after the show starts. Ticket holders should be checked in or in line by showtime. Once the show has started, your seat may not be held. Any open seats will be made available to standby customers. All late arrivals or unclaimed tickets will be void and non-refundable. Only tickets purchased directly from The Stand Up Comedy Club will be honored. We do not support or honor tickets obtained from third parties or scalpers. Any resale, attempted resale, or exchange of tickets will result in the seizure and cancellation of the ticket without compensation. Valid identification indicating the ticket buyer's identity is required for admission to the event. Failure to present such identification will result in denial of entry, and no refunds will be provided. VIP STAGE SEATING is sold exclusively in pairs, with a maximum of two pairs (four tickets) per purchase. Groups larger than four will be seated in the general admission area. Due to its close proximity to the stage, this section has a zero-tolerance policy for heckling and loud talking. DISRUPTIVE GUESTS WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE EVENT.
