Celebrate the life and music of David Berman on his birthday at the 6th Annual DCBday Charity Benefit. On January 4th, 2026 at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC, bands and singers will perform songs from the Silver Jews and Purple Mountains albums. This year's featured bands and singers include Hallelujah the Hills (Boston), Butch Klotz (30 Foot Fall, Houston), Hazel Epic (New Orleans), Majesties (Baltimore), Ezra Furman (NYC) with additional special guest singers to be announced. Featured events include Real Live Actual NYC Poets, The Blessing of The Hot Wheels and The Silver Kazoos Orchestra Audience Hum Along. Dress Code: Corduroy Suit. Proceeds from the show will be donated to Musicares, an ally to the music community providing preventative, recovery and emergency assistance to safeguard the health and well-being of music people in need, and to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, New York City Chapter.
