No questions asked.*EZRA FURMANEzra Furman is a boundary-breaking artist whose fearless creativity and emotional honesty have made her one of the most compelling voices in modern music. Blending punk energy, heartfelt lyricism and genre-defying innovation, Furmans work is both deeply personal and universally resonant. The albums shes released over the past decade demonstrate both her extraordinary talent and artistic evolution. Perpetual Motion People (2015) is a vibrant, genre-hopping explosion of wit and melody, while Transangelic Exodus (2018) pushed boundaries with its dystopian storytelling and atmospheric soundscapes, exploring themes of love, defiance, and identity. Twelve Nudes (2019) delivered raw, punk-fueled catharsis, channeling anger and resilience into fiery anthems. Her last album, All of Us Flames (2022), is a cinematic and deeply moving exploration of queer liberation, weaving intimate storytelling with grand, sweeping arrangements. She also found time to record the soundtrack for the Netflix smash hit TV series Sex Education. Ezra Furmans music is a testament to the power of individuality and authenticity, marking her as a truly unique voice in modern music.THE OPHELIASThe Ophelias are a band inspired by nostalgia, nature, the Midwest, horror movies, and the moon. They formed in Cincinnati, Ohio when Spencer Peppet (she/her) was a senior in high school. She recruited Mic Adams (he/him) on drums and Andrea Gutmann Fuentes (she/her) on violin, and Jo Shaffer (they/she) joined on bass a few years later. Their albums Creature Native (2015), Almost (2018) and Crocus (2021), have received praise from The New York Times, Pitchfork, Stereogum, and other major outlets. They have played with bands like Indigo de Souza, Julien Baker, Mannequin Pussy, Eliza McLamb, and comedian Cat Cohen; played festivals like SXSW, Treefort, and Nelsonville; and moved around the country, with members now living in New York, Chicago, and D.C. Their new album Spring Grove, produced by Grammy winner Julien Baker, is out April 4th on Get Better Records. The Ophelias are a joyfully queer band with predominantly queer and trans members, and they take pride both in their identities and vocally supporting queer & trans rights.
