Jeshua started the Americana Punk band Larry And HIs Flask with his brother Jamin 20 Years ago. In LAHF and on his own Jeshua toured Europe 12 times, did the Vans Warped tour, played in every state in the US and every province in Canada. He has played countless festivals, concerts, and street corners. Nate MackinderBEEF is a heartfelt collection of catchy songs written and performed by singer/songwriter Nate Mackinder from Hell, Michigan. The songs tell stories of the modern mid-life Midwesterner full of hope, disappointment and reflection. Produced and recorded by Jonah Brockman in Tecumseh MI, the retro folk rock sound and spacey arrangements capture the storytelling of a weathered traveler thats a bit jaded and broken, but still has some hope and drive to find happiness. The melodies dominate each song and stay concise and simplistic.Joined by brother and former bandmate Jeremy Mackinder( Whitey Morgan, Deadstring Brothers, South Normal) , Ben Vermeylen( Whitey Morgan, South Normal) and Jonah Brockman( Van Go Go)add the americana, alternative and rock sound to acoustic driven songs and bring out a sound beyond just a classic folk record.Beef is a dedication to Mackinders daughter born in July. Her mother, who is a vegetarian, was constantly craving meat throughout pregnancy and therefore earned the moniker Beef while still in the belly. Mackinder wanted to get an album out before she was born as something she can someday listen to and understand who her father was B.B, before Beef.
