GRAMMY®-nominated genre-bending ensemble Kneebody brings their explosive energy and fearless improvisation to the stage at Jimmy's. For nearly two decades, this powerhouse group, Adam Benjamin (keys), Shane Endsley (trumpet), Ben Wendel (sax), and Nate Wood (drums/bass), has been redefining what a jazz band can be, blending rock intensity, chamber ensemble precision, and spontaneous creativity. Known for their unique onstage communication and no-leader approach, Kneebody's music is anything but predictable. Their live shows shift tempos, moods, and styles on a dime, creating an electrifying, one-of-a-kind experience every time. Kneebody's catalog includes collaborations with Theo Bleckmann (12 Songs of Charles Ives, GRAMMY-nominated), electronic pioneer Daedelus (Kneedelus), and recent guest-filled albums like Chapters featuring Becca Stevens and Gretchen Parlato. Saxophonist Joshua Redman once said their album Low Electrical Worker was one of his "favorite albums of 2007."
