Quickly, their passion for loud rock music drove them to put pen to paper and the rest is history. Their approach to music is akin to Americana run through an alt-rock meat grinder. Their rust-belt mix of alternative, blues, and grass-fed rock n roll have been released through The Animal Farm record label. They can be found playing their original music across metro-Detroit. Check out their newest single and video - Cabin Fever which is currently in the top 200 on the College Radio Charts! The Common ScoldsThe Common Scolds formed in 2013 over a shared profession - law - and a love of music. Nine years later (and with a couple new members), we still provide an energetic show that is sure to satisfy the most devoted rock-and-roll fan. Attorneys by day, rock n rollers by night: The Common Scolds!Cameron GettoCameron Getto is a shareholder with Zausmer, PC, where his practice focuses on complex torts, malpractice and matters involving medical, scientific and engineering issues. He has been writing music and performing for more than 30 years. He lives in the Ypsi area and is eternally grateful for the support of his wife, Meredith Schindler, his four adult children, Esme, Hannah, Teilo and Taran, and his dad, David Getto.
