Set in a dystopian future, Metropolis story follows Freder, the son of the city's mastermind, whose love for a working-class woman leads him to the city's unpleasant underbelly. Metropolis is often cited as one of the first science fiction feature films, opening the door to the hundreds of movies in the genre that exist today. This is just one screening in our Silent Movie Mondays series at the Balboa Theatre. Your ticket is a revocable seat license. We reserve the right to void your tickets and refund your purchase if we discover you resell your tickets above the face value of the tickets. All Balcony seats require stairs. This is a cashless venue. This applies to all ticket sales, food & beverage purchases, and binocular rentals. All ages must have own ticket. No Cameras or Recording allowed. Re-prints/ re-issued barcodes for tickets not downloaded prior to arriving at the venue will incur a $5 Green Fee-- this includes tickets not properly downloaded. Your Seat locations and Barcodes must be clearly visible. Due to security enhancements, please arrive at least 45-60 minutes prior to event time. Please only bring essential items with you. The venue will only permit bags that are 12"x12" or smaller. Any bags/backpacks that are larger in size will need to be returned to the owner's vehicle or disposed of.
