Mindi Abair is a two-time GRAMMY-nominated saxophonist and vocalist with a 25-year career blending jazz, blues, and pop. She earned her first GRAMMY nod in 2014 for Summer Horns and followed with a 2015 nomination for her solo album Wild Heart, featuring artists like Gregg Allman and Trombone Shorty. Mindi has toured and recorded with major acts including Aerosmith, Joe Bonamassa, Duran Duran, and Smokey Robinson. She's a familiar face on TV, having performed on American Idol, The Late Show with David Letterman, and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. As leader of Mindi Abair and The Boneshakers, she won eight Independent Blues Awards in 2018, including Artist of the Year. She was also nominated three years in a row as Best Instrumentalist: Horn by the Blues Music Awards.
