When a Carolina storm drops Dottie in the heart of Chocolate City, nothing is what it seems. Her journey home takes an unexpected Left on MLK, where she teams up with Tin Ma, Scarecrow, and The Lion, chasing whispers of a powerful figure known only as The Giz. Along the way, they encounter the Mississippi Bullfrog - a Go-Go legend, a DC historian, a soul too often overlooked but impossible to silence. In this bass-heavy, soul-drenched spin on The Wizard of Oz, Dottie's gotta find heart, courage, and a whole lotta rhythm to survive. The Giz is a soulful, electric Go-Go musical that celebrates DC culture, resilience, and the undeniable power of community. The beat is calling - the question is - will Dottie answer? Important Event Information
All balcony seats require climbing stairs. There are no elevators in the Theatre. Only bags 12x6x12 & under allowed in. NO BACKPACKS! Our accessible seats are located in Row Z of the Orchestra Section. They are non-fixed, padded, armless seats and can easily be removed for those using their own chair or stay in place for companions & those who don't use their own chair. They can be purchased online by selecting "filters" and then "show accessible seats".
