This groundbreaking twist on The Wizard of Oz changed the face of Broadway-from its iconic score packed with soul, gospel, rock, and finger-snapping '70s funk to its stirring tale of Dorothy's journey to find her place in a contemporary world. RUNNING TIME 2 hours 30 minutes, including a 20-minute intermission. ADVISORY This production uses haze, smoke and flashing lights. AGE RECOMMENDATION The Wiz is a family-friendly show. Children 5 years of age and above are permitted but must have their own ticket. What some parents believe is acceptable and appropriate for their children, others may find objectionable.
