Tommy Castro & the PainkillersTommy Castro is an American guitarist, singer, songwriter, and bandleader. His muscular brand of roots music indulges electric and jump blues, funky Rt Keep a Good Man Down in 1997. Both received universal critical acclaim warranting two world tours. 2001s Guilty of Love landed inside the Top Five, prompting industry talk of crossover success. Hard Believer, his 2009 Alligator debut, hit number two and netted four Blues Music Awards -- including the coveted B.B. King Entertainer of the Year Award. 2012s raw, wooly, stripped-down The Devil You Know marked the first outing by his new band the Painkillers and spent 23 weeks on the charts. 2017s Stompin Ground peaked at number two. In 2021, Tommy Castro Presents: A Bluesman Came to Town, a blues concept album, was co-written and recorded with producer/drummer Tom Hambridge. It entered the charts at number two. After his second world tour, Castro, his band, producer Christoffer Kid Andersen, and a star-studded cast cut the 2025 album Closer to the Bone.Notes on Seating: The Jack London provides two options for ticket purchasers. Reserved Seating is purchased on a table-by-table basis in the central part of the venue and is only available for select shows. Seating in the General Admission section is limited, first come first served, and may be standing room only.
