A long-time member of TheDrastics, hes performed and toured with JC Brooks and the Uptown Sound, TedSirotas Heavyweight Dub!, and others. His most recent album, Acoustic Pastime onEars Eyes Records, features solo guitar arrangements of Brians compositions andThelonious Monk tunes. Jazz pianist Tom Vaitsas is a first-call veteran of the Chicagomusic scene. A former sideman for legendary jazz saxophonist Von Freeman, he hastoured worldwide with blues legends Lurie and Carrie Bell, and performed with jazzvocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater, guitarist Fareed Haque, and many others. DrummerPeter Mack rounds out the trio, with deep experience performing and leading his ownChicago Jamaican Jazz Ensemble.
