Global Groove and Chula Films proudly present the Seattle premiere of Yo No Soy Guapo: a moving documentary that dives into the vibrant world of Los Sonideros. Told through the stories of pioneers like Lupita La Cigarra and El Duende.After the screening, stick around as SHESGUCCI brings the heat with a DJ set of Cumbia Sonidera straight from the barrios to the dancefloor.Synopsis:Multicolor lights, panting and sweaty bodies, tight clothes, high heels and a cumbia sounds through the streets of the popular streets of Mexico City. The Sonideros (sound systems) began amusing the neighborhoods yards and then became the idols of the people. Since 2014, this tradition has been threatened by the prohibition of local government.Luces multicolor, cuerpos jadeantes y sudorosos, licras entalladas, tacones de Aventurera y una cumbia rebajada suena por las calles de los barrios populares de la Ciudad de Mxico.
