(New York, NY) Acclaimed concert and cabaret star Karen Akers reunites with her longtime musical director Alex Rybeck for an encore performance of Come With Me To Paris on Monday, July 13 at 7:00 PM (the eve of Bastille Day). This one-night-only concert will take place on the historic stage of Birdland in NYC.Akersan unabashed Francophileinvites audiences to share her lifelong love of France, and Paris in particular, through an elegant and evocative evening of song. The program features works by Stephen Sondheim, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern, and Jacques Brel, as well as a newly translated Edith Piaf classic by Sheldon Harnick. The evening culminates in a deeply personal remembrance of time spent in Piafs former apartment, closing with the iconic Non, je ne regrette rien.
